Biography
This year Joo Im KJN Martin celebrates his 30th year of Kuk Sool practice, including twenty-two years as a full time professional Instructor.
Joo Im KJN Martin started Kuk Sool aged eighteen at the Beccles School, Suffolk, under the guidance of KJN Philip Holmes, who now resides in Eastbourne. He initially started for self-defence reasons, but soon realised that there was more to Kuk Sool then ‘meets the eye.’
Today Master Martin strives not only to improve his own personal ability by practising on a daily basis, but he still finds time to support many of his own Instructors/students who have also opened up their own Kuk Sool Schools.
Achievements
Although Master Martin has been successful himself in many tournaments, his real achievements comes through the success of his own students, many who have gained national and international championship titles.
