Instructor Profile & Credentials
SBN Dave teaches at Lowestoft Kuk Sool Won.
Biography
SBN Dave's martial arts history started in 1986 when he started judo. He gained his yellow belt but decided rolling around on the floor was not for him at that age. "I started my Kuk Sool training in 1992 when my works manager ask if I wanted to start Kuk Sool he was a KSN at Beccles at the time and now a KJN . I decided to join Lowestoft club instead with a friend. This is where I met KJN Martin and was invited to join in the class which looked very daunting to me but I joined in anyway. This I was to learn was one of the best decisions I have made in my life".

Mentoring Instructors
KJN’s Martin and Alison have always helped me through good times and bad in my training and for that I am very grateful. They have always told the truth when it comes to my training. I recall once asking KJN Martin his opinion of my form for the tournament. After watching his exact words were David that is the worst I have ever seen you do Bahk Pahl Ki Hyung, my heart stopped but this inspired me to go on and win my first grand championship. Thanks for the kind words of support KJN.
Media
In 1995 I completed my gold Duke of Edinburgh and was invited to Buckingham Palace to receive my award at a garden party. I have also been involved in many black belt demo teams one of which was at the 2002 Seni in Birmingham. This led to some of us being asked to attend David and Victoria Beckhams party to perform a demo for the celebrities before the England football team went off to Korea. This was covered by Look East News and also photos of us appeared in OK and Hello magazine
