Kuk Sool Won™ of Lowestoft - Instructors
At Lowestoft Kuk Sool Won™ becoming a black belt doesn't automatically qualify you to be an instructor. We believe that good quality instructors will create good quality students, and we think our high standards are reflected in our success in the tournament, and our success within the school as a whole.
In order to train our instructors, Master Martin has put together a 1 year training course with regular monthly lessons which culminates in a 2 hour written exam and a 1 hour practical exam - which have caused many a sweaty brow!
Of course instructor training is an ongoing thing, so therefore we have regular instructors meetings where we discuss any problems which may arise as well as how to implement new ideas.
Here at Lowestoft Kuk Sool Won™, our instructors feel that teamwork is an essential part of the teaching process, and we are constantly striving to improve ourselves.
